Just as we work on opening restricted areas and strengthening the more flexible parts of the body, we also strive to find balance in our daily lives, relationships, and values. Yoga goes far beyond the poses on the mat – it’s a practice that touches every aspect of life. I’ll always encourage you to embrace this holistic perspective.
I firmly believe that no one should be “pushed” deeper into a pose, whether through force or hands-on adjustments. It’s essential to me that you feel in control and empowered to make informed decisions about your body at every moment. After all, no one knows your body better than you do!
In my classes, the goal is never to “achieve” a fancy pose. Instead, we focus on cultivating the tools to move freely and confidently in your daily life, without fear of injury. Whether it’s picking up your toddler, running to catch the bus, or breaking out your best dance moves, yoga helps you move with ease and joy.
