As an actress for theater and film, I was always deeply engaged with body, movement, and voice as ways to express myself. After spending several years in London working intensively in physical theater and performance, I returned to Vienna in 2020 and realized something was missing: balance and a respectful relationship with body and mind—things I had always set aside to keep pushing forward in the hamster wheel of life.
Since 2022, I have been teaching full-time at various yoga studios in Vienna. I expanded my knowledge through multiple trainings and eventually discovered Awakening Yoga, a Hatha Vinyasa practice system that emphasizes functional movement and mobility. This truly inspired me to incorporate playfulness, strength-based training, and mobility work into my classes, preparing students not only for the yoga practice itself but also for the physical and mental challenges of daily life.
I look forward to sharing different aspects of my training with you and supporting you on your journey on the yoga mat—no matter what stage of your yoga practice you’re currently in!
Lea brings together her work as a yoga teacher, nutrition scientist, TCM nutritionist, and Shiatsu practitioner in training to create a grounded and holistic approach to the yoga practice. Her classes are dynamic and yet precise, guided by clear alignment and conscious breathing. With curiosity and an attentive way of working, she meets each person where they are and supports them individually. Through the blend of science, traditional wisdom, and bodywork, Lea creates space for awareness, balance, and sustainable, individual approach to movement and wellbeing
